Myles Munroe is an internationally acclaimed teacher and conference speaker with several best-selling books to his credit. In Waiting and Dating , Dr. Munroe offers a balanced, biblical view for every believer who wants a prosperous and fulfilling marriage relationship. He offers some of the best advice you will ever find on the subject of finding the one with whom you will spend the rest of your life.
After speaking out about how weak and insecure men control women in relationships in on several globally televised shows, Tony Gaskins launched his career as a life coach and relationship counselor. Drawing inspiration from the Bible and from his own personal failures and successes, Gaskins offers a framework for how to recognize the right person to settle down with, how to set standards that promote loving relationships, and more. I learned something very valuable in a silent season, and that is that I shouldn't be trying to build something when I was supposed to be cultivating my spirit.
I was supposed to use that season to spend time with God, grow, and rest in him - not step out on faith and try to do something out of his timing. How many of us are making "faith moves" when we are supposed to be resting? You will find yourself tired because you built something that wasn't even for you. There's enough talk about how we should stay positive, get out and stay out of toxic relationships, keep going, etc. Well, look no further.
Spiritual Growth Mission Study: 2018
This book contains the affirmations necessary to retrain your mind and redirect your energy in the direction of your destiny. Listen to understand and meditate on these passages regularly, and watch everything about your life improve starting with your perspective. Roberts brilliantly lays forth the truth that in order to live an outer life without limits, we have to uncover and address the inner limitations that hide in our blindspots.
This life-changing book explains that regardless of where you are in life, wholeness will take you higher. Wholeness will elevate your sense of fulfillment in life, produce healthier, more rewarding relationships, and will position you for optimum success in every endeavor. Roberts explains we can't always choose the experiences that keep us from being whole, but we can take control of our lives today and bring healing to any broken area.
His insight is further broadened by his role as founder of one of the most influential churches in the nation, with over 14 years pastoring thousands of millennials, couples, families, and a diverse group of individuals.
Wholeness will take you on a transformational journey that won't leave you the same. Concluding with a "Wholeness Test", Wholeness will help you track and maintain your progress while walking out your journey to your full potential. Would you listen to Wholeness again? This manuscript brought the inner me to full attention!!! It kept my attention from start to finish Pastor Toure Roberts does just that, with clarity and revelance using himself as an example!!!! Who was your favorite character and why?
Fire has to refine gold. In the refining season is definitely an unmistakable road to Wholeness. You have to understand God can't put new wine in old wine skin because it's not strong enough to handle it. Anything retrieved out of season could possibly kill you. There are key instructions that will assist in eliminating the old , old past, old rejection, old hurt.
The reason I said old because we hold on to what people have said or done in the past and feel the pain as if it was present Some of our daily routines have been defined by the brokenness of our past and it appears normal to us. This book helped me to eliminate a lie that I believed for years that had me bound.
Great ending with examples of wholeness. The narration was forced and difficult to listen to for long periods of time. The information in the middle of the book is a bit mundane but the last few chapters are impactful! As a woman who has been very aware of her brokenness, I have always wondered how to actually achieve the freedom of wholeness. I love the Bible and all that the book has to offer, however, I needed some practical steps and advice on how to achieve that freedom.
This book truly provided a revelatory experience. I now know how to sit in, evaluate, and confront the broken areas of my past with a very clear process. I intend to put this process into practice because I am no longer waiting on wholeness.
Wholeness is waiting on me! This is truly a life changing book! I was able to swallow my pride and fear and go to my first therapist appointment because of this book! Thank you Toure Roberts!!!
Embracing Myself Now
I bought this book for five of my friends, I bought it for myself too but I had to have the Audible. Hearing Pastor read it makes it more interesting, like being at service at the Potter's House of Denver. I've read the book a couple times but today I listening to it awakened the God-given gift in me. If you've bought this book before please don't give it away, because there's another season of your life you need to hear this book again. So if you want to give it to a Friend purchased them one but always keep this.

This book will be with me forever even in my old age just to remember how I can win in this life. This book is a must read for anyone yearning to discover higher levels of happiness. I really appreciate Toure Roberts, hes a very wisdom full and knowledgeable teacher And I look forward to the next Book either him Or is wife Sarah Roberts may make. This is the key for me in my walk with Christ as wholeness is a fight to be like.
I am so thankful for this book. So many parallels going on in this book and in my life right now! I know by the grace of God this book has changed me and my relationship with God forever. Though most of our emotional problems are either rooted or affected by personal relationships, incredible as it may seem, healing from emotional pain is also most effective when it is done in the context of interpersonal relationships. Though true wholeness is found in Christ alone, God uses human care and ministry to assist us on our journey.
God speaks to us through His Word, through prayer and worship, and through other believers in Christ. Although we are fallen and broken creatures, we were created whole, and Christ has renewed that wholeness in us through the cross. Because of the fall, however, we often do not feel whole — and here is where we err — we try to make ourselves whole through a flurry of futile activities that only end up leaving us frustrated and exhausted.
Instead, Jesus calls us to rest in the work He has already completed in us Mt ; Heb The way we experience wholeness takes place in the context of relationships with God and others. God, within the trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, is in perfect, constant fellowship with Himself; though the trinity is one in essence, they are three distinct persons in relationship with each other. Therefore, relationships are not just a good thing to have in life, but are essential to the life we do have.
Incredible as it may seem, no two of us are even close to being the same.
The gifts God has given to us are for a particular purpose — to participate in right relationships with God and others. If we should fail to use these gifts and capacities, they will become dormant, hidden and undeveloped… and we will not discover who God created us to be. It is critical to remember that it is in the context of relationships where we discover both others and ourselves.

Because of sin, however, we often twist and distort this relational need, so that we are not free to be who we are or allow others to be who they are. So in the context of relationship, we discover God, others and ourselves.
As believers, we have been united with God and are to experience this unity genuine fellowship with other believers as well cf. I Jn ; Jn , 21; 1 Cor God calls us to live in community with other believers — not just with our family members and friends. As you study the Word together, pray together, fellowship together and serve one another, the Holy Spirit will do a transforming work in and through your life. Through the cross, Jesus brought the good news that we have been whole again, that our relationship to God has been restored, and that our relationships with others have been given a whole new basis through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Eph , 5. It is by grace that we have been saved, and it is by grace that we grow and heal and mature and bear fruit cf.
